SWAY IS BACK!
“HERE WE GO AGAIN…”
…was the collective thought in the room as Sasha Chmerkovskiy announced the return of SWAY: A Dance Trilogy.
That thought was undoubtedly accompanied by a smile and a sense of excitement about what’s to come. Being a part of the production team and cast, I can tell you first hand what an unbelievable experience it was to be a part of this show, and we are thrilled to do this again.
I’m sure you’ve already checked out the SWAY page and seen the dates for the shows. If not, go do so now. We are currently scheduled to have four shows between December 18-20, 2014. But who knows, if those shows sell out, maybe we’ll add a few more! We better start hitting the gym early just in case…
SWAY 2.0 will be held at the same theater as SWAY 1.0, which is “The Space” in Westbury, NY. It’s a brand new theater and perfect for this type of show. We got great feedback from attendees, and frankly we couldn’t find a better space, so we decided to keep “The Space” for SWAY 2.0
We know that Maks Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, and Val Chmerkovksiy are going to anchor the show again. What we don’t know yet is who our new cast members and special guests will be. December is usually a busy month for everyone and the schedule details need to be ironed out. Even the stars need practice, you know!
…and because you liked it so much, we’ve brought back “The Making of SWAY” so you guys can take a look behind the scenes as we put together another incredible show. Check out our first episode, where Sasha Chmerkovskiy discusses plans for a December production with the Dance With Me management team. SWAY choreographers Tiago and David discuss how to make this show even better than the first by adding new cast members and fresh choreography.
