Dance Instructor / Client Experience Coordinator

Meredith Landphair

Meredith has proudly been a member of the Dance With Me team since 2013. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Meredith studied classical ballet for eight years when she realized the rigid structure of the ballet world did not suit her free-spirited personality. She quickly immersed herself in the swing dance scene, focusing heavily on lindy-hop, before moving on to lesser known styles like Charleston and Balboa. This led to a desire to learn more forms of partnered dancing: including salsa, zouk, and eventually….ballroom. After falling in love with the ballroom world, Meredith decided to become a full-time instructor. She now manages the Fort Worth studio striving, to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her goal is to help students learn in a way that is challenging, encouraging, but most of all, fun!

Raphael Abel

“There are shortcuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them.” This is a quote that ultimately describes Raphael Abel. ‘Ralph’ as he is affectionately called at the studio, began his love of dancing at the tender age of twelve. Like most kids, he was a little hesitant at first, but with a gentle push he discovered an inner passion that would stay with him for eternity. After finishing his degree in accounting and entering the New York City workforce, he realized that something was missing in his life. His whimsical attitude and personality was immediately a hit with the staff and the students at all of the Dance With Me studios. He smoothly dispenses all his knowledge and skill to everyone that crosses his path; building relationships, listening to others and keeping his hands in the mix at all times. Raphael is very excited about the opportunity to bring ballroom dancing to another level in Southlake!

Dance Instructor / Administrative Coordinator

Erin Jane Cupp

Erin started dancing at the age of 15 in a high school Show Choir group involving live theatre performances and competitions. She fell in love with this art of combining the three disciplines of music, dance and theatre. After 4 years of Show Choir, she grew eager to expand her knowledge of dance and joined College Ballroom classes. While being a student both in college and a local ballroom studio, her passion of dance grew immensely. This led her to become an instructor at a studio during her last year of completing her Psychology degree. She loves to teach others how to communicate through dance. She strives to help others reach their goals while showing the happiness and health dance can bring. She is honored to continue her career at Dance With Me.

Dance instructor

Moses Williams

Moses’s dance journey did not have a typical beginning, and it’s unconventional nature has had a lasting and positive effect on his development. Moses was not a dancer growing up. He was shy, but he believed that true self-improvement could be found in our most uncomfortable moments. At the age of 12, he started teaching himself how to hip hop dance and, as his skills improved, he started to open up. By age 17, he was studying Computer Science and Philosophy at Southern Methodist University. It was around this time that he was introduced to Ballroom dancing. Ballroom dancing gave Moses everything he needed in life: A sense of purpose that could define his life, a persistence that could never be shaken, and the ability to transform thought into reality. Moses wants to share his passion with as many people as possible, and lead others to follow their dreams as well. His favorite quote: “Running water never grows stale. So you just gotta keep on flowing.”-Bruce Lee

Ricardo "Ricky" Corella

Ricardo, or “Ricky” as his students call him, started dancing at the age of 8. As a child he preferred football but one day his mother convinced him to take a dance class. After the first lesson, he was hooked.

Ricky’s passion for knowledge, perfection, and competitive nature drove his love for dance and pushed him towards competing in International Standard and Latin. At the age of 14, Ricky started coaching other young competitive couples and quickly became known as a young leader and ambassador for the sport.

He participated in many South American and Pan-American championships winning several titles and representing Ecuador on the official Ecuadorian Dance Sport team. Ricky moved to the United States in 2017 to further pursue his competitive dance career. He loves getting the opportunity to share his love of dance with students of all levels.
