Our friendly & knowledgeable dance instructors have multiple teaching certifications including National Dance Council of America, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, DVIDA, and Roll Call Wheelchair Dance.

About Our Dance Studio

Opened in 2010, Dance With Me SoHo is our first location in Manhattan, and third in the Tri-State area. Located on Broadway between Great Jones Street & Bond Street, it is a convenient location just steps away from public transportation.

The entire Dance With Me family is devoted to your success at every level. Dance With Me Studios are the perfect combination of rigorous programs and fun teachers who create an encouraging atmosphere where you will gain confidence and grow.

  • MONDAY 7:40PM

    SOCIAL DANCING -BEGINNER
    Learn to dance the most popular social dances including Salsa, Bachata, and Argentine Tango. Improve your movement, and have some fun with like-minded people! This will be an open-level class ranging from absolute beginners to intermediate level dancers, your instructor will go over the basics and give you some fancy styling for each dance!

  • MONDAY 8:30 PM

    SOCIAL DANCING – INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

    This is a class for those who already finished a month of beginner classes or have previous social dance experience.

    INTRO TO LATIN
    Welcome to the world of International Latin! With it’s straight, balletic lines and sultry power, this dance style is a favorite all over the world. Zachary will work on the fundamentals and technique of cha cha, rumba, samba, jive, and paso doble.

    LATIN WORKSHOP – INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

    Work your Latin technique and presentation in this workshop class. Catalina will work on fundamental actions in each dance and develop stylistic qualities in the Cha cha cha, Rumba, Samba, and Jive. Enhance your dancing in this energy filled class! This class is geared towards intermediate level dancers but dancers of all levels are welcome to attend and challenge themselves.

  • WEDNESDAY 6:50PM

    AMERICAN SMOOTH – BEGINNER

    Take part in the glamorous dances that founded the ballroom tradition and learn to glide across the floor like the pros in Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz! This is a beginner class so you will learn basic steps of each dance and understand their different characteristics!

  • WEDNESDAY 7:40 PM

    AMERICAN SMOOTH – INTERMEDIATE

    Enhance your technique in the traditional ballroom styles of Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz. This class is geared toward intermediate/advanced dancers, but beginners are welcome to come and challenge themselves.

    ARGENTINE TANGO
    Learn the fundamentals of the tango that defined South American dancing in the 19th Century with its sensuality, nostalgia, sadness, and closeness. This class is an introduction to Argentine Tango and will take you through the basics and many challenging patterns.

    CHOREOGRAPHY CLASS

    Build your confidence in dance by learning choreography! In this class, we’ll explore technique, styling, and steps in an easy-to-practice format.This is a great way to learn steps to a piece that can potentially be performed at spotlights and parties!

    RHYTHM – BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
    American Rhythm is a fun and energizing style of dance that incorporates classic dances such as ChaCha, Rumba, Swing, and Mambo. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced dancer, this class will give you the tools you need to take your dancing to the next level.

  • SATURDAY 12:10 PM

    CARDIO AND STRETCH

    Stretching and Cardio are so important for a happy, healthy life! Especially one full of movement. Take this time to take care of your body and prepare for a day of dance! This class will help improve balance,, mobility, stamina, flexibility, and strength.

  • SATURDAY 2:40 PM

    INTERNATIONAL LATIN TECHNIQUE – INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

    Take your technique to the next level! During this class the instructor will focus on drilling individual steps expanding your knowledge while creating more fluidity within each movement.

  • SATURDAY 3:30PM

    STRICTLY SALSA DANCE
    This popular social style from Cuba will challenge your mind, coordination, and partnering skills with new patterns every week. This is an open level class, but the quick footwork may be challenging for beginners.

Dance Instructor

Milos Jadzic

Milos Jadzic graduated from the University of Belgrade in Serbia (Faculty of Philology), and from the University of Pristina (Faculty of Arts, Acting Department). He is a four-time national champion of Serbia in Latin. He is a ballroom dancer, choreographer, and actor specializing in jazz musical theater. From 2008, he has been a member of Terazije Theater, a musical theather in Belgrade. He was the 2015 winner of the scholarship for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, Massachusetts for the Jazz Musical Theater Program directed by Broadway dancer and choreographer, Mr. Chet Walker. From 2008 to 2017 he has been  dancing and acting in numerous musicals in Terazije Theater, such as: Chicago, Mamma Mia!, Grease, Victor Victoria, Sweet Charity, Na slovo na slovo, Zona Zamfirova, Awakening,  Zorba the Greek, Belgrade-Moscow, Mr. Dollar, also with Proscenium Productions in Monty Python’s Spamalot  and Love and Fashion in Madlenianum Opera and Theater in Belgrade. Milos has been in many Serbian TV shows, movies, and theaters both as a dancer and actor. He is of the founding members of Ludum Ludum Troupe in Belgrade, recognized internationally for excellence in performing.

Dance Instructor

David Outevsky

Dancing at the top amateur and professional levels of DanceSport, David has competed in the Blackpool dance festival, the UK open, and the International Ballroom Championships achieving the finals in several Open Latin events. He performed at prestigious events such as the Chelsea and Hanley Festivals around London, UK, and more recently at the ceremonies of the Pan Am games in Toronto, Canada. He has taught learners of all ages and levels and is an associate teacher and adjudicator recognized by Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and Canadian DanceSport Federation (CDF) for International Standard as well as American Smooth and Rhythm dance styles. Besides ballroom dancing, David has extensive experience in Contemporary Dance, Dance Theater, and Contact Improvisation which he uses to create original choreographies for his students. He has a Master's degree in Dance Science and has published research in peer reviewed academic journals on conditioning for dance, movement education, and biomechanics in dance practice. He loves teaching and uses his knowledge to develop education initiatives for instructors and maintain student engagement and progress at Dance With Me SoHo.

Originally from Beijing, Zachary grew up competing in International Latin and traveling the world. He moved to the United States 3 years ago to pursue his career in teaching! He is dedicated to growing every student to the best versions of themselves. He is excited to be a part of the DWM community that he has heard so much about!

Catalina Palade

Originally from the Republic of Moldova, Catalina Palade grew up competing in International Latin & Standard. Catalina graduated two faculties at State University of Moldova (Law & Beautiful Arts - Choreography). She moved to USA five years ago to continue her dance career in professional International Latin. Catalina is a professional dance teacher who dedicates herself completely to teach & inspire every student so that they achieve their goals in ballroom dancing. Her ten years of teaching ballroom & twenty years of active competition in both programs definitely make her an irreplaceable professional who can find a key to every new student. Catalina is excited to be part of an amazing dance family like Dance with Me.

Tayleur Salix

Tayleur began her dance career at the age of three years old and has since worked with prestigious companies such as Ballet Theatre Northwest, Pacific Festival Ballet, and the Moscow Ballet of Russia. Her passion for acting grew out of her dance training and has resulted in a long line of film and theatre credits including a notable performance as “Dream Laurie” in Oklahoma. Tayleur joined Dance With Me in 2019 and merged her love of dance with her penchant for people and administrative ambitions. She loves being part of the DWM Family where she gets to bring the joy of dance into the lives of others
