Regional Manager/ Coach

Leanne Aranza

Music and dance became a passion for Leanne at a young age. Sparked by her mother’s early dance career and her father’s long-time work in bands, Leanne started performing with her dad and sisters before the age of 10. By 18, she was Director of Music and Arts for a large ministry while continuing to pursue her love of dance. In 2008, she moved to Nashville and discovered the joy of ballroom dancing. With intense training and quick progress under a 7-time world champion, Leanne decided to make dance her life pursuit. In early 2012, to advance her professional career, she moved to New York City to work and train with more of the top dancers in the world. She is certified in American Rhythm, American Smooth, and Latin, and competes in all styles. Leanne loves teaching and has a deep passion for people. It is her desire that every student, whether dancing competitively or socially, will gain more joy and pleasure than ever imagined from their ballroom dance experience.

He is experienced in the International 10-dance as well as the American style of dancing. Supervisor/Dance Instructor

Alona Tovarnova

Martha Graham wrote: “Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion.” And Alona is just that. As a child, she twirled and jumped around her living room in circles just like a fairy.  After taking her first ballroom class at the age of 8 in Izhevsk, Russia she was sold on the ballroom world. Since then Alona has trained throughout Russia and the United States with top teachers in the industry in both International and American styles. She has devoted her life and career to sharing her skills and passion with anybody and everybody.

Supervisor/Dance Instructor

Klajdi Kasemi

Klajdi started dancing because he loves music. Although he is a 10 Dance Albanian Champion in standard and latin styles, he enjoys teaching all types of dances and seeing how happy they make his students. His favorite quote is, “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful” by Eric Thomas. Klajdi’s biggest goal is to simply enjoy life and be the best he can be.

Dance Instructor

Jelena Cerovic

Jelena was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia where she first started dancing and competing in Latin and Ballroom. Since an early age she showed strong artistic sensibility and won significant prizes not just in the field of dancing, but of literature, painting and theatre as well. In 2011, Jelena moved to Italy to continue her studies at the University of Rome and to represent Italy as a dancesport competitor. Today she is excited to explore the magic of New York while teaching dancing at different levels. What she loves most about her job is meeting new people, discovering their personalities and life stories and proving them that everything can be learned if you really want to. Her motto is “Never settle for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living”.

Dance Instructor

Tyler Bishop

Tyler’s love of teaching started in the martial arts world before the passionate world of dance swept him away in 2010. In the 6 years he has been teaching, he has been a part of many Pro Am competitions, a variety of showcase performances, choreographed countless weddings, and truly fell in love with sharing his passion for dance with others. Outside of the studio Tyler is also quite active. He enjoys snowboarding, paintball, exploring the city, cooking and Martial Arts just to name a few. One of Tyler’s favorites quotes is by Marcus Aurelius “The universe is change; our life is what our thoughts make it” Overall, Tyler is very good at meeting each student where they are and helping them reach heights they never thought they could.
