READY FOR TWO MORE CAST MEMBERS TO SWAY 2.0?
In case you’ve been under a rock the last few days and haven’t heard about the latest cast members added to SWAY 2.0…we have some very exciting news for you! Dancing With the Stars professionals Artem Chigvintsev and Sharna Burgess are joining the SWAY cast on stage in December!
I know, we can’t stop smiling either!
And don’t forget about Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance professionals, Peta Murgatroyd, Henry Byalikov, Jenna Johnson and Serge Onik, who we announced last week. AND let’s not forget about three guys named Maks,Tony and Val!
Yup, that’s what you call a HOT lineup! It’s okay, I’m drooling too…
Now, on to this week’s episode of The Making of SWAY!
Like we pointed out last week, every dancer in SWAY, from our super stars to our new faces, brings something unique to the show. This week, we continue to introduce you to the members of our fabulous cast and take you behind the scenes of our first rehearsal!
Let me tell you, casting SWAY 2.0 was not an easy task. After all, SWAY is not just another dance show. It is an intimate, audience-engaging performance that blurs the lines between conventional ballroom, live theatre, and other well known dance genres. Not only must our dancers be extremely talented, hard working, and versatile, but they must portray the character of SWAY perfectly. Thankfully, our choreographers David Thomas Moore and Joao Tiago Fernandes know just what (and who) they are looking for.
In this episode, David and Tiago welcome the 2.0 cast to their first rehearsal at Dance With Me Stamford, and we then hit the ground running…err, dancing!
You will also meet Leanne Aranza, SWAY dancer and manager of our Dance With Me Soho studio – now that’s a busy lady! As a young girl, Leanne always dreamed of performing on a big stage. Well, she got her chance in the first run of SWAY and wow’ed us all…so we’re bringing her back for 2.0!

Finally, you will meet two more of our Dance With Me students, Brianna and Barbara, who will share their experience of SWAY’s premiere performance back in July.
